Q1– I don’t have rank card, but I remember my Roll no & Rank. What should I do now?
Ans: Download your rank card fromthe official web page i.e www.uptu.ac.in. In case of any difficulty Contact DV & CC Center In- charge.
Q2- Is it necessary to carry original mark sheet of Qualifying examination or marks will be verified from photocopy of mark-sheet?
Ans: No. It’s necessary to carry original mark sheet of qualifying examination. Marks will be verified from the original mark sheet only. You must produce original mark sheet at the time og document verification.
Q3- Is it possible to appear in counselling without qualifying the UPSEE 2015?
Ans: No. Only eligible candidates will be allowed to appear for the further processes.
Q4-Is it possible to lock seat choices as per my Merit/ Rank?
Ans: Yes. You will get an opportunity to lock any seat as per your merit/rank during seat choice locking process.
Q5- I’ve lost my UPSEE-2015 admit card . What should I do now?
Ans: You won’t be allowed to proceed for the process of document verfication without UPSEE-2015 admit card, so download your duplicate admit card from the official web page i.e www.uptu.ac.in. If you find any difficulty then contact Document Verification (DV) Centre & Choice Locking Centre (CC) Center In-charge.
Q6– I have my own Domicile certificate instead of my parents certificate. Can I submit it?
Q7- I do not have Main category (OBC/ SC/ ST) certificate and/ or Sub- category (AF/ FF/ HC) certificate. What should I do?
Ans: Get your certificate from the competent authority in prescribed format.
Q8- I had claimed rural weightage, but don’t posses Rural weight -age certificate. What to do now?
Ans: In case you don’t have rural weight age certificate or your rural weight age certificate is not in proper format, then get your certificate from the competent authority in prescribed format. Apply for special verification if you think you won’t get certificate by the time slot allotted to you. If you unable to present rural weight age certificate during document verfication process then your documents will be verified as per your Rank without Rural weight age.
Q9- I do not have Affidavit for Gap period. What should I do?
Ans: The Affidavit for Gap period can be arranged from a local NOTARY. If you find any difficulty in making it, Contact DV&CC Center In-charge.
Q10- What will happen if I do not have proper Income certificate of parents?
Ans: If you submit income certificate of your parents then you will be eligible for Tuition Fee Waiver Seats also. You will not be eligible or considered for tuition waiver seats at the time of seat choice locking if you won’t be allowed to provide income certificate during document verification process. Get income certificate of your parents and in case you think that you would not get get the certificate even by Special Verification time, participate in Verification today.
Q11- I don’t have Medical fitness certificate// Migration certificate/ Transfer certificate /Character certificate from the Institution last attended.
Ans: Take part in verification process. You can submit undertaking on Certificate 10 (proforma available in Brochure) at the time of Document Verification, You can submit these certificate in the institution you would be admitted at the time of admission.
Q12- After Document Verification what will I get?
Ans: Candidate will get a password on his/her mobile phone from the authorized center after the process of document verification. Candidate has to use this password on the choice locking facility which shall be open for a week and candidate can his/her choices till the last date and after that no changes will be allowed.
Q13- can i change the category ?
Ans : You can change. Just submit the required document on the date of document verification, then only you get benefited.
Q14) Is there any sequence of reporting at Document verification on scheduled day ?
Ans : Your sequence of document verification will be decided by sequence in which in which you submit fee, so do come early to finish your process as soon as possible.
Q15) how i know document verification center ?
Ans : Check out official web page of university to get a list of document verification centers.
Q16) When will the classes commence in session 2015-2016?
Ans : Institute where candidate takes the admission will give the details about it.
Q17) When counseling session should start ?
Ans : Counselling schedule will be soon available on the official web page i.e www.uptu.ac.in
Q18) Is it possible to appear for choice filling and seat allocation without document verification ?
Ans : No. Only those candidates who will appear for the document verification process will pass on to choice filling and seat allocation step.
Q19) What should i do if no seat allotted to me ?
Ans : In this case you may report at the refund/withdrawn counter and get the refund of Rs. 5000 to get the refund of Rs. 5000.
Q20) How will i come to know which seat has been allotted to me ?
Ans : Generally on the day of choice locking itself the seat allotted list will be hosted on the website.
Q21 – Documents Required ?
Ans :
- UPSEE 2015 Admit Card.
- Counselling Letter.
- UPSEE 2015 Online registration slip (for JEE main candidates only).
- Class 12th mark sheets
- Class 12th/HCC certificate.
- Mark sheet of the Qualifying Examination.
- Character certificate.
- Certificate(s) in support of claim for ‘Sports Seats’.
Other Documents required
- Domicile certificate, if applicable.
- Category certificate for OBC/SC/ST on the basis of which reserved quota seat is claimed.
- Subcategory certificate for Freedom fighters/Armed forces/Physically handicapped as applicable
- Certificate of being the Sons / Daughters of defence personnel of U.P. either retired (superannuated) or killed / disabled in action or defence personnel posted in U.P./defence personnel domicile of U.P. & posted outside U.P.
- Income certificate for economically weak candidates.
- GDDA category certificate, if applicable
- Rural Weightage certificate, if applicable
