AFCAT stands for AIR FORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST. The Indian Air force is going to conduct Air force common admission test. This test checks the eligibility of the aspirants for filling up vacancies of officers in flying branch/technical branch/ground duty. So here we are providing you with the Afcat Syllabus 2016.
The AFCAT exam consists of 100 questions. All questions will be of three marks each. If the answer is correct so the candidate gets 3 marks if answer will be wrong then the candidate will get negative marking. The total time for the exam of AFCAT is 2 hours.
The Syllabus of AFCAT consists of following topics:
General Awarness : History, Sports , Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science ,Defense ,Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc
Verbal Ability in English : Comprehension, Error detection, Sentence competition, Synonyms, Antonyms, Testing of Vocabulary
Numerical Ability : Decimal fraction, Simplification, Average ,Profit and loss, Percentage , Ratio and proportion , Simple Interest
Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test : Verbal skills and Spatial ability

AFCAT EKT EXAM 2016
All applicants whoose online applications have been successfully submitted will be called Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) and Engineering knowledge Test(EKT)
EKT would be for 45 minutes and conducted immediately after AFCAT
The duration of AFCAT 2016 Exam will be two hours and EKT exam will be for 45 minutes
Candidates who clear the AFCAT Exam 2016 will be called for further interview process which is known as AFSB interview. AFSB stands for air force selection board located at Varanasi, Mysore, Gandhinagar etc
