Dear students, today he first round of counselling ended with the very less number of students appearing at the Counselling centres. Also today was the last day for UPSEE Document Verification. All the students who appeared for the UPSEE First round of counselling session and registered online can now print the seat allotment slip.
So as very less number of students appeared for the first round of counselling, therefore university is hoping to get more registrations for second round of counselling.
UPSEE Second Round of Counselling
UPSEE Second Round of counselling will start from 6 July 2016. All the students who were not able to appear for the first round of counselling can now appear for the second round of counselling.
The procedure for the second round round of counselling is also same as for first round which is being detailed below:
- The candidates have to do fresh registrations using their application number and password who didn’t participated in the first round of counselling.
- The students need to pay the registration fee online for General/OBC candidates it is Rs. 20000 and for SC/ST candidates it is Rs. 12000
- Then students need to choose the course and college and lock the seats.
- On 7 July 2016, there will be document verification, students can verify their documents in any of the document verification centres.

The results for the seat allotment will be declared on the official website, all the students can check from there either there have been allotted the seat or not.
The students who will be allotted a seat should have to choose any of the 3 options
- Freeze Option: If the student is satisfied with the allotted seat then he/she have to choose freeze option to get the allotted seat.
- Float option: A candidate who want to confirm the seat presently allotted to him and also at the same time wants to be considered for up gradation of seat in subsequent round of counselling on the basis of his already filled choices are required to opt for Float option.
- Withdraw Option: A candidate who is not satisfied with the presently allotted seat to him and do not want to be considered for allotment in any subsequent rounds of counselling should opt for withdraw option.
The candidates who are not allotted any seat in any of the two round of counselling have to opt for any f the three options:
- Float Option: If a candidate wants to be considered for seat allotment in the subsequent round of counselling on the basis of already filled choices can opt for float option.
- Withdraw Option: If a candidate doesn’t want to be considered for allotment in any subsequent round of counselling should opt for Withdraw option.
