Hey everyone, as you all are already aware that GNIOT college has organised a fest “FUSION 2016”. So till now you know about events like: Dancing Duo, Nukkad Natak, App Development and Quiz. So now we will be telling you about two more fantastic event that is a part of FUSION 2016.

• Duet Singing
• Group Dance

These are the two events you must love to participate. As these are something which everyone loves to do. Some look into it as Passion some as entertainment. So it doesn’t matter how look into it. Just come and be a part of it either as participant or spectator, as you will love it

DUET SINGING

So can your pair match and make the audience gape in awe of your performance? Let your voice echo through the hearts of the audience, and set the environment such that it remains etched in minds of everyone for a long time to come.

Registration Rules and Regulations

• Team size : 2 members.
• Time limit for each group is 5 minutes.
• The team can sing any song(s) English or Hindi or a mixture of both.
• One accompanist is allowed.
• Karaoke is allowed.
• The decision of the judges shall be final and binding.
• Time limit should be strictly followed. Participants will be penalized by judges for not doing so.
• Mash-Up Allowed.

Judging Criteria

• Quality of singing (sur, taal, lay).
• Vocal range
• Song selection
• Synchronization
• Overall impact of the song.
• Stage Representation.

Entry Fee: Rs. 300 per duo

Prizes

Winner:              Rs 1,200 + Vouchers worth Rs 1,500.
1st Runner-up :  Rs 800 + Vouchers worth Rs 1,000.
2nd Runner-up : Vouchers worth Rs 1,000.

Event Venue: Ground Floor, Seminar Hall – Main Building @ GNIOT, Greater Noida

GROUP DANCE

Expression is an art and dance is an art of expression. HAPPY FEET is a group dance competition which fetches maximum crowd of attendance. Crews and groups battle for the ultimate win and showcase their classical, western, hip-hop, contemporary, street and many more dancing talents.

Registration Rules and Regulations

• A group can perform any prepared piece of dance.
• Time limit for each group is 8 minutes. Performance of different dance forms within the same group is permitted.
• Minimum number of participants per group is 3 and maximum number of participants per group is 15 along with a maximum of 2 backstage helpers. At least 2 people should be on stage at any given time.
• Participants from different colleges can form a group to participate.
• Participant should submit their tracks on a Pen drive (name and details should be written on it) half an hour before the event starts.
• Judges’ decision will be final.

Judging Criteria

• Choreography
• Expressions
• Costume
• Energy
• Synchronization
• Impact on the audience.

Entry Fee: Rs. 800 per team

Prizes

Winner:              Rs 4,000 + Vouchers worth Rs 4,000.
1st Runner-up :  Rs 2,000 + Vouchers worth Rs 2,000.
2nd Runner-up : Vouchers worth Rs 2,000.
