National Level Essay Competition

The Central Ground Water Board, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation , Govt. Of India is organising a essay competition on National Level. The essay is organised under Jal Kranti Abhiyan. The competition aims to make the youth aware of need of conservation and prevention of pollution of this precious natural resource. There are some guidelines for the competition enlisted below:

Guidelines for National Essay Competition

The competition has 2 categories

1. Category 1

Under this category Essay competition will be held in 3 stages. At first students need to submit their essay to Nodal Officer i.e. to the office through email or post on topic “Role of Youth in Water Management” (Age group 15-25 yrs). In second stage, 10 winners of Stage 1 will compete at Lucknow on 17, March 2016 followed by at third stage terminating the competition at National Level at New Delhi.

2. Category 2

Under this category Technical paper on water issues are invited by students and stakeholders on following topics. The last date of receiving papers is 12 March 2016 at cgwa@nic.in.

Topics: Climate change and impact on water resources, Water issues including pollution and management strategies in India

Submission of Essay or Technical Paper last date: 12 March 2016

Second Round of Essay Competition: 17 March 2016
