Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering(GATE) is an all India examination that test the potential and eligibility of engineering students. As the number of students appearing in gate examination is increasing every year. Gate is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and Indian Institute of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination board -Gate ,department of higher education ,ministry of human resources development (MHRD), Government of India.

For Mtech program MHRD and government of India provide scholarship and financial support to the students . So these advances enhances the competition in students for gate exam and every year thousands of students appear in this exam .

How to check GATE Result

• Just click on the link provided below or visit the official website of GATE
• On the home page you will see the link of results page.
• Enter your registration details like email id or enrollment id as filled by you at the time of registration and password on the blank space .
• Click on submit button.
• Now you can see your result.

GATE Result Cut off 2016

As to clear the GATE exam candidates need to score above cut off marks. Only after scoring marks above the cut off marks students will be able to use that score for further processes. So below is provided the cut off marks for different categories:
