Hello friends, hope you will be fine. Today I am going to inform you about a NATIONAL LEVEL QUIZ CHALLENGE for engineers. Some of you must be knowing about this, so here I am providing the whole detail about NEC 2016, National Engineering Challenge.
National Engineering Challenge Quiz Contest
NEC is a quiz contest mainly organized for the engineering students across India, who all will be competing to showcase their talent, abilities and win exciting prizes. The idea behind the contest is to filter out the3 best engineering brains in the country and award them. So this a platform which provides students a better way to use their learning and abilities.
Eligibility for NEC 2016
There are some eligibility criteria which must be fulfilled by the students to participate.
The participant must be either:
- An engineering student
- Passionate about science, maths and general aptitude
Contest Schedule
There will be total 3 rounds in the quiz challenge:
- Round 1 (Preliminary Round): Round 1 will be comprised of online test from which 100n winners will be selected. There will be prizes up to Rs. 1,80,000 at each regional centres to be won
- Round 2 (Zonal Selection): This round will be paper pen round. The students will have to go at the nearest assigned regional centre. The prizes up to Rs. 75,000 at each centre to be won.
- Round 3 (Final quiz round): In this round 5 teams will be there to compete. Each team will be comprised of 2 members. This will be a multi round quiz. For this round prizes and cash up to Rs. 3,10,000 to be won by the students.
Awards for NEC 2016
The awards have been categorised according to the 3 rounds:
- The award for 1st round includes cash prize of Rs. 22,00,000 and Free gate coaching will be provided to the 100 selected students
- The award includes cash prize of Rs. 1,20,000 and tabGATE i.e. Tablets with GATE content
- The students who will compete in the 3rd and the last round in that winner will be awarded with Rs. 1,50,000 and cash prizes to runner teams too.
