UPTU Khabar recently conducted an online survey, where many students from different parts of UP participated and made remarkable and shocking facts about their college. We are presenting here complete analysis of the entire survey. You will come to know some amazing facts out of this survey 🙂
65% of the UPTU Students think that their faculty is above average…
UPTU Khabar conducted a Survey of current students and found some of the interesting facts. One of the interesting fact which student responded about the faculty. Around 18% student give faculty 10 out of 10 marks it means they are 100% satisfied with the faculty in their Institutes.
In this survey students of almost 70 colleges participated from cities of Uttar Pradesh Noida, Amroha, Bijnor, Jhansi, Moradabad, Bagpat, Rampur, Kanpur dehaat, Varanasi, Bulandshahr, Rae bareli, Allahabad, Muradnagar, Shamli, Kanpur, Hapur, Meerut, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Agra, Greater Noida.
Merely 13% students gave 1 rating to the faculty. 35% students said that there faculty is below average. The kind of colleges we have in UPTU and based on their location it is positively surprising to see such response for the faculty.
Uttar Pradesh Technical University have nearly 2.5 lac seats available in various courses in more than 600 colleges. Admission in these seats can be taken via UPTU counselling or direct admissionmode.
More than 50% of UPTU students have given above 5 rating to their College Infrastructure –
Though most of the UPTU colleges come under the private banner but still students think that they have above average infrastructure. We have conducted a survey across 70 colleges of more than 20 cities of Uttar Pradesh.
16% of the students think that their college have bad infrastructure.
19% of the students are extremely satisfied with their college infrastructure.
Some of the cities where infrastructure have good rating are Greater Noida, Ghazibad, Merrut, Lucknow etc.
60% of the students say that Labs need to be improved in UPTU College –
UPTU Khabar conducted a survey in 70 colleges of more than 20 cities and found that more than 60% of the students think that their labs need an Improvement. Around 18% of the students says the situation of labs is very bad in their campuses. 12% of the students are very much satisfied with the labs.
More than 40% of the students says that their colleges does not have Sports facility –
UPTU Khabar conducted a survey of UPTU Students of 70 colleges from 20 different cities. Around 29% students rated sports facility as 1 to their college and most of them gave low rating. Colleges having good rating for faculty and infra also got very low rating in the Sports facility. UPTU Colleges needs a major improvement in the sports facility as suggested by the survey.
24% of the students are not Satisfied with the Extra-Curricular Activities of their Institutes-
UPTU Khabar conducted a survey in more than 70 colleges of 20 different cities affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. We asked many questions on the institute faculty, lab facility, sports facility, extra-curricular and training placement activities of campus.
More than 57% students think that Extra-Curricular facility in their campus is below average. Only 14% of the students think that extra-curricular activities are best in their campus. UPTU Colleges needs a lot of improvement in Extra-Curricular activities section. This will really bring a lot of talent out from students.
Rating of Training Facilities and Placement is Average in UPTU Colleges and Needs an Improvement –
UPTU Khabar conducted a survey in 70 colleges of 20 different cities affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. We asked many questions on the institute faculty, lab facility, sports facility, extra-curricular and training placement activities of campus.
We asked student to say about training facilities in your campus, around 25% gave rating 1 to that. 16% of the students are satisfied by the training in their Institutes. Though lot many colleges are lacking in this and there is need of improvement in Training Facilities in UPTU Colleges.
Rating of UPTU Colleges as placement. As expected students do not rate colleges high on the placement side as well. 23% of the students think that their colleges lack in the placement.
Interface of UPTU colleges with Each other needs an Improvement – UPTU Khabar Survey
UPTU Khabar conducted a survey in which students from 70 colleges of 20 different cities participated. 24% of the student says that their college is not having relations with other colleges. If we see UPTU as a central university then most of the colleges are located in a cluster. If they can do collective things the impact of the activities will surely be much higher.
For example, if we take Greater Noida colleges and do the placement activities of Greater Noida students studying in various campuses, the effect will be much wider and all students will get chance to participate in the placement drive.
Same way if one college starts Center of Excellence in Embedded and other starts in VLSI and another starts in Hardware Networking then their students can eficiently use each other campus labs, attend events, seminar on each topic. Students from all 3 colleges will get advantage and placement opportunities for all students will increase.
There is lot more needed in this direction. May be university can take a step in this direction and start more collaborative activities.
