Hello everyone, a one Day Workshop was organised on Incubation and Startup at Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology held on 17th of March 2016.

Galgotias Center for Technical Innovation and Incubation ( The Entrepreneurship Incubation Cell  ) of Galgotias Engineering College organized a one day workshop on ‘Startup and Incubation’ on 17th in the presence of a host of dignitaries coming from various government institutions such as NABARD, SIDBI, NSIC and a number of successful corporate entrepreneurs and distinguished academicians. The meeting started with the lighting of lamp and Saraswati Vandana and an initial address by Dr. S.K. Verma (Professor and Head of GCTII).

The Director of GCET gave a welcome address in which he expressed his commitment to inculcate the incubation and entrepreneur culture as a part and parcel of academic curriculum.

The workshop aimed at educating and motivating the prospective incubates faculties and student communities in general about various ongoing procedures in technicalities and provisions of the government for encouraging young technology driven people to look for startups as an alternate career.

The meeting was addressed by DGM NABARD Mrs. Vinita Srivastava who was also the chief guest of the function. She appraised the audience about the various schemes being run by NABARD to promote young startup in agro based activities in the rural areas.

The meeting was addressed by Mrs. Anubha Prasad ( DGM SIDBI ) and Mr. P Dey ( DGM NSIC. They also explained and highlighted the role played by SIDBI in NSIC in promoting the ‘Make in India’ Endeavour of our honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi.

The meeting ended with a vote of thanks expressed by the student coordinator of the event Ms. Vatsala Shukla.

This is one of the great initiative taken in the direction provided by our honorable Prime Minister towards start up. Below is a glimpse of Workshop Session held in Galgotias College.
